摘要 PURPOSE: A diesel engine control method is provided to minimize the noise from an engine by reducing the output of the engine within the range of the engine noise. CONSTITUTION: While traveling, the opening of an accelerator pedal, the RPM(Revolutions Per Minute) of an engine and the speed of a vehicle are detected(S100). Whether a reduction condition of engine output is content or not is detected(S110). The satisfaction of a release condition about engine output reduction is detected when satisfying the reduction condition of the engine output.(S120) A control signal of the engine output reduction is output(S130), and a traveling distance is calculated when unsatisfying the reduction release condition(S140). The opening of the accelerator and the traveling distance are compared with reference values(S150). The opening of the accelerator, the RPM of the engine and the speed of the vehicle are detected when the opening of the accelerator is less than the reference value and the traveling distance is more than the reference value. The control signal of the engine output reduction is output when the opening of the accelerator is the predetermine value and the traveling distance is less than the reference value.
