PURPOSE: A rack for a microwave oven is provided to prevent the thermal deformation of synthetic resin parts around a rack of a microwave oven. CONSTITUTION: A rack(10) is placed in a cavity(20) of a microwave oven to put food on. The rack has side separating parts(12a,12b) separated from both side walls of the cavity. A rack holder(17a) is attached to the both sides of the cavity to support the rack. A fitting unit(14b) is fitted to the rack holder, and formed in the rack. The side separating part is separated from a side face(22) in fitting the fitting unit to the rack holder to be far from a canopy(17). The synthetic resin canopy is prevented from being damaged by heat with separating the rack from the canopy through the side separating parts in heating the rack.
