MP3 DECODER AND MP3 PLAYER USING THIS

PURPOSE: An MP3 decoder and MP3 player using this are provided to improve performance of personal computer and use computing power for other application program by having structure to use an exclusive decoding chip for MPEG file restoration. CONSTITUTION: An input/output controller(21) confirms capacity of a buffer and controls to keep capacity of the buffer of a proper level in the case that MP3(Moving Picture experts group 1 layered data which is input through an input/output port is stored in a memory buffer(22). The memory buffer(22) stores MP3 data which is input through the input/output controller(21), and controls MP3 decoding ASIC chip(23) set to remove regeneration speed to be generated when decoding MP3 data and data loss caused by decoding speed difference, and synchronizes regenerating speed. An MP3 ASIC chip set is equipped to restores MP3 data stored in the memory buffer(22) and is realized by MP3 decoding card.
