PURPOSE: A back panel rigid structure improves the rigidity of a tail gate opening and satisfies the torsion and the durable rigidity of the opening. CONSTITUTION: A rear end member inner panel(44) composing a rear end part is installed over one end of a rear floor. A rear end member outer panel(48) is installed outside the rear end member inner panel(44). A support rear end member(50) and a rear side member(54) are facing with each other with the rear end outer panel(48) interposed between them to disperse the torsion and the bending stress. The torsion and bending stress given to the sectional surface of the rear end is dispersed to the side of the rear side member(54) to improve the durable rigidity of the back panel.
