PURPOSE: Provided is a shampoo containing high molecular water-soluble chitosan which has effects on depilation, dandruff or trichosis by fat removal, hydration, and antibiosis compared to existing chitosan shampoo containing insoluble chitin or chitosan. CONSTITUTION: A shampoo containing high molecular water-soluble chitosan comprises methylchloroisothia zolinone, methylisothia zolinone, tocopherol acetate, vitamin E, and high molecular water-soluble chitosan of molecular weight 1-150 million units which is extracted from crustaceans such as crabs.
