摘要 PURPOSE: A method for modulating the position of a chip repeating code of a forward link synchronizing channel for high-speed cell search is provided to repeat a binary signal corresponding to each chip to transmit a code having a small signal power. CONSTITUTION: When transmitting a forward link synchronizing channel in a base station, each slot of the forward link synchronizing channel frame is divided into six mini slots. A binary signal corresponding to each chip of a CPM(Code Position Modulation) code is repeated to the next mini slot according to a setup number. The power size of the binary signal is made to be a power size inversely proportional to the power size of the binary signal, and transmitted to a mobile station. When receiving the forward link synchronizing channel in the mobile station, a chip-repeated synchronizing code is received through the forward link synchronizing channel. A signal delayed as much as a chip-repeated number and a present input sampling signal are added, for restoration to an original CPM code, and inputted to a synchronizing channel interface filter.
