THIN FILM TRANSISTOR SUBSTRATE FOR LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE AND METHOD FOR REPAIRING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A thin film transistor substrate for a liquid crystal display device and a method for repairing the same are to repair a short defect of a gate line or a data line using an auxiliary repair line, thereby minimizing a signal distortion of a storage voltage. CONSTITUTION: A gate interconnection includes a plurality of gate lines(22) formed in a row direction. A storage interconnection includes a storage electrode line(26) formed in the same direction as the gate line, a storage electrode(28) and at least one storage connection unit(27) connecting the storage electrode of adjacent pixels. A data interconnection includes a plurality of data lines(62), which are isolated from the gate line and the storage interconnection and formed in a column direction. A pixel electrode(82) has a storage capacity formed by overlapping the pixel with the storage interconnection and receives an image signal. One end of an auxiliary repair line(68) is overlapped with the storage interconnection and the other end of the auxiliary repair line is isolated and overlapped from/with the storage interconnection or the gate interconnection.
