PURPOSE: A car frame prevents damage and deformation happening at the kick-up portion of a side member in a collision. CONSTITUTION: A car frame comprises a reinforcement(52) and an auxiliary reinforcement(1). The reinforcement(52) is attached to a kick-up portion which is the bent part of a side member(50). The square-shaped auxiliary reinforcement(1) is attached to form a space together with the reinforcement(52). The force deforming the kick-up portion is absorbed and dispersed by the side member(50), the reinforcement(52) and the auxiliary reinforcement(1) as transmitted to the kick-up portion. The space between the reinforcement(52) and the auxiliary reinforcement(1) is closed to intercept the deformation of the kick-up portion to prevent the side member(50) from being deformed.
