The invention concerns the mounting of a motor ball bearings, said installation being particularly adapted to sealed rotor motors such as those used for controlling gas supply valves. The mounting process consists in preparing a rotor assembly comprising a rotor (26) and a bearing (28), inserting said assembly into a ball bearing housing (30) provided in a support block (10), the rotor projecting from the housing; then placing a ring seal (60), preferably an O-ring type seal against the fixed bearing (70) of the ball bearing; then optionally fitting a non-magnetic sealing cup (62) around the rotor pressed against the joint; and finally in setting in place a stator assembly (24) around the rotor, clamping it against the support block (20). When the stator assembly is clamped on the block, it presses the joint against the fixed bearing of the ball bearing, optionally through the latter, thereby ensuring tightness, as may be required. |
