PURPOSE: A program format display device for a digital broadcasting receiver is provided to indicate HD broadcasting when a user see EPG by adding a descriptor related to HD to EIT table. CONSTITUTION: TP demultiplexing part(100) receives MPEG TP stream, demultiplexes it, and outputs PSIP table or SI table. EIT table processor(200) receives EIT table through PSIP table or SI table of the TP demultiplexing part, discriminates it, and stores data of each broadcasting program into a database(300). EPG implementing part(400) receives a broadcasting program data stored in a database(300) through the EIT table processor(200), and implements displayed screen content. A graphic processor(600) displays a screen content of the EPG implementing part(400) by using a graphic library(500). |
