PURPOSE: A hood inner panel structure reduces noise in an engine room. CONSTITUTION: Multiple folds(101) of an one-side opened rod form are formed on an inner panel(100) of a hood with a fixed clearance, the length of which is different one another so as to absorb noise of diverse waves. The fold(101) forms a kind of a hole between an outer panel and itself because the inner panel(100) and the outer panel are in contact, so that noise generated in an engine room flowed in the fold(101) is retarded to proceed to the original direction. The flowed-in wave of noise and not flowed-in wave of noise are anti-phased, and offset each other by interference operation of phase so that noise is sharply removed.
