PURPOSE: A method for managing a physical layer using a MMC(Man Machine Command) in a wired switching center with smaller capacity, is provided to make it easy to maintain and repair the physical layer between the switching center and a TCS-W(Telephony Control Subsystem-WLL) that interfaces with WLL(Wireless Local Loop), by managing the physical link using the MMC. CONSTITUTION: A V5SA(V5.2 Subscriber Adaption) block receives a signal from a V5DH(V5.2 Data Handling) block(S31). A data signal(mmc_data.cmd_type) is set according to an instruction type of the signal applied from the V5SA(S32). The V5SA(S32) sends the data signal(mmc_data.cmd_type) to a V5SI(V5.2 Subscriber Interface)(S33). According to the instruction type of the data signal(mmc_data.cmd_type), the V5SA(S32) creates the physical link, deletes it and outputs information of the physical link(S34). The V5SI sends the results of the creation, deletion and information output of the physical link to the V5SA(S35). The V5SA transmits the results thereof applied from the VRSI to the V5DH(S36).
