CATALYTIC COMBUSTION BURNER FOR GAS BOILER

PURPOSE: A catalytic combustion burner for a gas boiler is provided to flexibly adjust a high load and to prevent the environmental pollution caused by combustion by applying a pollution preventing catalyst. CONSTITUTION: A catalytic combustion burner consists of: a blower(20) forcibly blowing external air into a fuel feeding unit(10) with a nozzle tip(11), a solenoid valve(12), and a stopping valve(13); a preliminary mixing chamber(30) regularly mixing fuel and air with a porous plate(31) on the blower; a combustion unit(40) containing a metal fiber(41) as a metal fiber supporter on the preliminary mixing chamber and a carrier(43) in which the metal finer is dipped for gas phase combustion reaction and catalytic chemical reaction with a catalyst(42); an ignition device(50) generating a spark to the catalyst in the metal fiber, on the preliminary mixing chamber; and an extinguishing safety device(60) installed on the opposite side of the ignition device.
