METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a plasma display panel is provided to prevent mis-discharge between neighboring discharge cells by forming differently dielectric coefficients of a dielectric layer for covering a discharge region and a dielectric layer for covering a non-discharge region. CONSTITUTION: X electrodes and Y electrodes are formed parallel on one face of a front substrate. The first dielectric layer is formed to cover a part of a non-discharge region between neighboring discharge cells. The second dielectric layer is formed to cover a discharge region of the discharge cell except for the first dielectric layer. A dielectric protection layer is formed to cover the first and the second dielectric layers. A dielectric coefficient of the first dielectric layer is less than a dielectric coefficient of the second dielectric layer.
