PURPOSE: A color backlight of an LCD(liquid crystal display) module is to overcome an expression limit of the backlight, combine light of various colors, and emit the combined light according to requirement of a user. CONSTITUTION: An LCD device is stacked at a lower portion of a reflecting plate to form a sheet. A lamp, in which each color is combined, is disposed at both sides of the reflecting plate so that light of the lamp is diffused through the reflecting plate. A controlling portion controls a light emitting operation of the lamp according to a controlling signal. The controlling signal is a light emitting control signal to control a color of the light according to requirement of a user. The lamp is comprised of at least one LED(light emitting diode) for combining the color of light at both sides of the reflecting plate. Each LED emits red, yellow and blue color light, and also selectively emits the light according to the controlling portion.
