PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode and a sensor that can measure the concentration of O2- and the superoxide ion decomposition enzyme (SOD) without being affected by other constituents even if the constituents coexist by solving the problems where a conventional enzyme electrode for O2- measurement cannot be practically used for measuring the O2- since measurement speed is low and it is affected by other constituents, and there is no practical means for measuring a SOD. SOLUTION: In this electrode, the surface of the conductive material 9 is covered with an SOD12 via an organic compound thin layer with a gold underlying layer 10 and a thiol group, a hydrocarbon compound containing the thiol group being formed in a thin film shape on the surface of the conductive material is included, and dipping into solution containing SOD is made for detecting the concentration of the SOD.
