PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce thermal conductivity based on lattice vibration in order to improve the figure of merit of thermoelectric conversion material. SOLUTION: A different phase 2 is deposited on a crystal grain boundary 1 of thermoelectric conversion material like (CoPdPt)Sb3, so that the figure of merit Z which is shown by Z=α2.(σ/κ) when Seebeck coefficient isα, electric conductivity isσand thermal conductivity isκis increased.
