<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication unit that conducts communication at a low cost and is easily connected to an electronic device, without impairing the convenience as a mobile phone. SOLUTION: The communication unit conducts communication by utilizing a communication module 10, that is provided with a voice CODEC 108 and a data CODEC 109 that are connected to an external device via an interface section 13 for applying coding/decoding of a voice signal and data inputted/ outputted to/from the external device, an RF section 104 that utilizes an external antenna connected to an antenna connector 12 to send/receive a wireless signal, a modulation section 106 that modulates a signal sent by the RF section 104, a demodulation section 105 that demodulates a signal received by the RF section 104, a channel control circuit 107 that conducts channel control, and a microcomputer 101 that controls each section of the communication module 10.</p> |
