PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight of a rocker arm, facilitate the assembly of a roller shaft, and prevent the deformation of the roller shaft to ensure proper rocking action of the rocker arm, in a valve system for internal combustion engines, in which an opening part for accommodating rollers rollingly contacting a valve system cam, and a pair of shaft-inserting holes coaxially arranged to fit on and fix both end parts of the roller shaft for rotatably supporting the rollers, are provided at the rocker arm provided with plural valve abutting parts capable of separately abutting on the upper ends of plural engine valves. SOLUTION: A roller shaft 63 is fitted in and fixed to the inner end part of a both shaft inserting holes 66 with the axial parts outside both ends of the roller shaft 63 of the both shaft inserting hole 66 left hollow. |
