PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid laser device for obtaining laser beams whose roundness is high without deteriorating any output by preventing the eccentricity of the temperature distribution of a rod type solid laser medium. SOLUTION: This solid laser device is provided with a rod type solid laser medium, a laser diode for activating the rod type solid laser medium, a cylindrical flow passage body surrounding the outer periphery of the rod type solid laser medium, and forming a cooling medium flow passage 4 with the rod type solid laser medium, and a cooling medium introducing means 6 formed at the cylindrical flow passage body for introducing a cooling medium to the cooling medium flow passage. This solid laser device is constituted so that even the rod type solid laser medium part arranged at the stagnation part of the cooling medium generated at the cooling medium flow passage by the cooling medium introducing means can be activated by the laser diode. This solid laser device is provided with a means 60 for reducing the stagnation of the cooling medium generated in the cooling medium flow passage. |
