PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor which forms no abnormal image even after preservation in an oxidizing environment and does not cause the deterioration of the photoreceptor in the initial stage of use. SOLUTION: An antioxidant is incorporated into the surface of a photoreceptor by an appropriate means.
