PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape exposure type display device which is capable of forming a signboard of desired contents by arraying loop-like tapes segmented by coloring with plural colors on a display surface of a prescribed size, is therefore capable of easily changing the display contents in an installation place of the signboard, does not require electric power consumption in displaying the signboard and is usable repetitively any number of times. SOLUTION: This tape exposure type display device 1 consists of a display surface 2 which have plural small windows 31, 32, etc., 331, 332 and plural tapes 41, 42, etc., 431, 432 which are provided with plural color schemes segmented to prescribed lengths, are exposed with these color schemes from the plural small windows 31, 32, etc., 331, 332 and have the prescribed widths corresponding to the widths of the small windows 31, 32, etc., 331, 332. The color schemes exposed from the plural small windows 31, 32, etc., 331, 332 are so formed that the prescribed color display may be executed as a whole of the display surface 2.
