PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolled photosensitive material package which is capable of preserving a photosensitive material without exposure for a long period and may be easily manufactured. SOLUTION: This package comprises the rolled photosensitive material 1 which is formed by winding a long-sized photosensitive material sheet 3 on a winding core 2, disk-shaped flank light shielding plates 4 and a long-sized heat shrinkable light shielding leader 5 which is bonded to the front end of the long-sized photosensitive material sheet 3, is longer in the part broader than the width of the long-sized photosensitive material sheet than the length on one outer peripheral circumference of the rolled photosensitive material, is <1% in the longitudinal direction and <1% in a transverse direction at 50 deg.C, 5 to 30% in the longitudinal direction and <30% in the transverse direction at 100 deg.C and is greater in the shrinkage rate in the longitudinal direction than the shrinkage rate in the transverse direction. The light shielding leader described above is wound for more that one circumference in a stage of mounting the flank light shielding plates to the winding core of the rolled photosensitive material and both ends of the light shielding leader are brought into close contact with part on the outer flanks of the flank light shielding plates 4 by the thermal shrinkage of the light shielding leader.
