PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that an exposure error is caused because an auxiliary blade intervenes in an aperture shape formed by a light shielding blade in a shutter device for a camera. SOLUTION: This shutter device for a camera is provided with a shutter bottom board 1 obtained by forming an aperture 1o for exposure, a pair of light shielding blades 3 and 4 moved back and forth so as to open and close the aperture 1o, one auxiliary blade 5 for preventing light from being leaked, an actuator 2 for driving a blade and a lever 9 actuated in a response to the actuator 2. A pair of blades 3 and 4 is driven by the lever 9 actuated in response to the actuator 2 and the blade 5 is directly driven by the actuator 2. Thus, the blade 5 is retreated from the aperture 1o earlier than the blades 3 and 4.
