SOLUTION: A tongue-shaped spring contact part 140 is formed in a cylindrical fitting part 110. As the spring contact 140 is formed, by cutting and setting upright the part of a 111c forming a bottom wall of the fitting part 110,, The female terminal 1 is small sized, light weight and enables reduction in cost.
