PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect plural computers through the same channel. SOLUTION: The USB communication interface of equipment in which a host computer function can be executed by its own device is provided with a route port 13 with which outside equipment for executing a host computer function is connected, down stream ports 32-1 to 32-n with which equipment for executing a terminal function is connected, a connection judging means for judging whether or not the outside equipment is connected with the route port 13, and a control means for controlling whether or not the host computer function of its own device should be operated based on the judged result of the connection judging means.
