PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide facsimile equipment where abuse of a transfer function is prevented and the convenience of a transfer function is improved. SOLUTION: Transfer setting information is stored in a transfer setting storage 13. Concerning the transfer setting information, whether to permit transferring is conditioned by a transfer condition, a transfer operation date, etc. When an interface 22 receives information through a LAN, whether the transfer of the information is permitted or not is judged in accordance with the transfer setting information stored in the part 13 based on the address of the call originator of the information. Only when transfer is permitted, the information is transferred. Furthermore, a transfer destination can be set in the transfer setting information. Then, through a transfer destination is not added to received information, the transfer destination is decided automatically based on the address of the call-originator of information and the information can be transferred through a communication part 17 or the part 22.
