PURPOSE: An apparatus for transmitting a switch signal of a steering wheel is provided to arrange all desired switches at the steering wheel by transmitting a switch signal of the steering wheel to an ECU without connecting a connector between the steering wheel and a steering column, thereby promoting the operation and the convenience of a driver. CONSTITUTION: In a steering wheel(10) including a plurality of switches(15) formed at a front surface of the upper steering wheel for controlling an audio, an auto cruise, and an air conditioner, a switch signal transmitting apparatus of the steering wheel includes a transponder(20) installed at the steering wheel for converting the input of the switches into an electric signal for transmitting, and an antenna coil(40) installed at a steering column(30) for transmitting the electric signal received from the transponder to an ECU(50).
