PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which can output a good image over a long period of time by preventing problems of a prior image appearing as a positive ghost next time, etc., due to the generation of failure in electrification by attachment of toner on a surface of an electrifying means or residual toner after transfer which couldn't be recovered by a developing means. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a toner electrifying control means 6 electrifying the residual toner on a photoreceptor drum 1, that is not transferred to an intermediate transfer body or recording material after a transfer operation to negative polarity. |
