PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmission terminal station system for optical wavelength multiplexing in which the number of devices is decreased and a transmission terminal station is downsized by using accumulation dispersion compensation devices prepared for each channel partially in common. SOLUTION: The optical transmission terminal station system is provided with an optical multiplexer that applies optical wavelength multiplexing to optical signals of a plurality of channels whose data are modulated for each wavelength, a circulator having an input terminal receiving an optical wavelength multiplex signal from the optical multiplexer, and a plurality of compensation stages connected sequentially to a 1st output terminal of the circulator in cascade. Each of the compensation stages is provided with a dispersion compensating means, a reflector for individual wavelength placed at an output side of the dispersion compensation means to reflect each channel optical signal of the optical wavelength multiplex signal and a 2-way repeater placed at the output side of the reflector of each wavelength. |
