PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system which evaluate risk and/or exposure relating to banking transactions by using various statistical techniques and probablistic methods. SOLUTION: A Bayesian belief network is used as an exemplary diagnosing tool which models the relation between the input and output of a risk evaluation system and between them and other external factors in a financial risk evaluation system to find a likelihood information source of an error of data inputted to the financial risk evaluation system.
