GELATINOUS ELECTROLYTE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gelatinous electrolyte for a secondary battery which is satisfactory in electrol-conductivity because of high retention of electrolyte and which is safe from inflammation due to liquid spill because of high liquid- retention of electrolyte. SOLUTION: This gelatinous electrolyte for the secondary battery contains a polyurethane (A), which is obtained by the reaction of (a) polyisocyanate component, (b) polyol component and (c) a chain extender, a nonaqueous solvent (B), and a lithium ion compound (C). This polyurethane (A) contains an amino group containing polyol as (c) the chain protraction agent.
