PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an antenna system, used for an on board satellite tracking antenna system, etc., thin, small-sized and adaptive to circularly polarized wave transmission and reception. SOLUTION: On the top surface (reflecting surface) of a ground plate 4, a feeding probe 1 is arranged projecting, and a semicylindrical subordinate reflector 2 constituting a primary radiator together with the feeding probe 1 and a main reflector 3 which has its mirror surface opposite the subordinate reflector 2 across the feeding probe 1 are arranged. On the mirror surface of the main reflector 3, a converter 500 is formed which converts a linear and a circular polarized waves and the mirror 3 has a horizontal cross section in a parabolic shape and also has the feeding probe 1 positioned at specific focus or focal line and is fitted to the ground plate 4 at a specific fitting angleθso that the antenna faces a radio wave arrival or radiation direction. The converter 500 is formed of grooves 510 extending at 45 deg. to the ground plate normal and ridges 512 between the grooves on the mirror surface of the mirror 3; and a radio wave component which is orthogonal to a groove is reflected by the groove bottom part, a radio wave component which is parallel to the groove is reflected by the ridge surface, and a phase difference corresponding to the groove height H is generated when reflected by the mirror 3 to perform linear-to-circular polarized wave conversion.
