PURPOSE: A method for collecting performance information of an optical transmission device is provided to collect the performance information by a predetermined period, and then store it in a database. CONSTITUTION: A message for requesting the performance information of a day ago is sent to a synchronous optical transmission device via a server(301). It is checked whether a proper response to the performance information request message has been received(302). If the proper response has been received, it is determined whether the latest performance information of the synchronous optical transmission device is related to information of two days ago(303). It is requested to search the performance information of two days ago after the latest data stored in the database(304). It is checked whether a proper response to the search request has been received(305). If the proper response to the search request has been received, the searched information is stored in the database(306). |
