PURPOSE: An apparatus for identifying or making diagnosis failure of thermostat in battery of electric automobile is provided to detect and display whether or not the thermostat is disordered and to easily recharge the battery. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises generally existing parts and, in addition with, a detection part of driving pressure of a cooling fan and a control device to output control signals for driving the cooling fan if the temperature detected and applied in a tray that generally exists in the apparatus is above any desired set up temperature; then to determine the failure of the fan by applied driving pressure and, if it is yes, to output a symbol for displaying the failure; afterward, to determine whether the battery is under recharging process and, if it is yes, to determine whether it is under initial recharging mode and, if it is yes and after completing the recharge mode, to determine the lack of recharged amount and to output desired display signals to show the recharge lack.
