The wear take up device is placed between the connection module (210) of a sprinkler (200) and the module receiving adaptor. The connection module which is positioned inside the adaptor is composed of a cylindrical tubular part with a diameter greater than the original diameter of the connection module which is inserted between the bottom end of the connection module and the receiving adaptor so that radial play is taken up.
