PURPOSE: A cellular phone suitable for watching a digital television is provided to inform a user that a voice call signal is received in the cellular phone while the user watches the digital television via an LCD screen on the cellular phone, and enable the user to selectively stop watching the digital television and make a telephone call. CONSTITUTION: A digital television reception part(113) includes a tuner(113a) for performing a tuning operation of a signal received via an antenna, and a demodulation part(113b) for outputting a base band signal of a tuned signal. The digital television reception part(113) further includes a synchronization detection channel decoding part(113c) that founds out synchronization from the base band signal, and corrects an error in coding a channel. A digital television data process part(112) includes a video process part(112b) and a voice process part(112c) which divide the corrected signal applied from the synchronization detection channel decoding part(113c) into an audio signal and a video signal, and then process them.
