METHOD FOR PREVENTING EXCESSIVE PLATING ON EDGE OF STEEL SHEET IN RADIAL TYPE ELECTROLYTIC CELL

PURPOSE: A method is provided which prevents excessive plating on the edge part of a steel sheet although a width of the steel sheet is changed in a radial type continuous plating line using a soluble anode. CONSTITUTION: In a plating method using a radial type continuous plating line using a soluble anode (5), the method for preventing excessive plating on the edge of a steel sheet in a radial type electrolytic cell is characterized in that the soluble anode is arranged so that it has an inclination angle (&thgr;) of 5 to 30 degrees from the vertical direction, and the radial type continuous plating line is constructed so that the end of the most outward anode is positioned from the maximum width of a steel sheet to be plated to the outside of a distance of 10 to 30 mm from the edge of the steel sheet, thereby preventing excessive plating on the edge part of the steel sheet during continuous plating.
