PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a portable flowmeter by which a flow rate can be found simply at a site. SOLUTION: In the portable flowmeter 10 which can be carried, an operator inputs data on a measuring-flow-passage shape, data on a level and the like from an input part 32. A flow velocity/flow rate computing and control part 28 calculates the position of a measuring point to be measured on the basis of the measuring-flow-passage shape and the level which are input. A display part 34 displays the position of the measuring point. The operator moves the flowmeter 10 up to the position of the measuring point. A flow velocity is measured by a flow velocity sensor 14. The flow velocity/flow rate computing and control part 28 calculates the flow rate on the basis of flow velocity data from the flow velocity sensor, and the flow rate is displayed on the display part 34. |
