摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an edit system that can conduct many kinds of diversified edits including a highly sophisticated special effect and can considerably reduce a data transfer load. SOLUTION: Upon the receipt of an effect list request signal from the edit section 11 of a nonlinear edit device 1, an effect section 22 in a video server 4 transmits an effect list 24 to the edit section 11. The edit section 11 generates an extended EDL(Edit Decision List) by using the effect list 24 according to an operation of a user and transmits the effect section 22. The effect section 22 conducts the effect processing according to the extended EDL when receiving the extended EDL from the nonlinear edit device 1.
