PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dual stroke cylinder apparatus which occupies narrow installation space in its stroking direction. SOLUTION: Two cylinder main bodies 10, 11, respectively having piston rod 12, 13 that extend in the reverse directions, are integrated and juxtaposed parallel, and can integrally slide along rails 16 in their axial direction relative to a base 15. The head of the piston rod 12 of the cylinder main body 10 is fixed to the base 15 so that the juxtaposed cylinder main bodies 10, 11 can be reciprocated integrally by telescopic motion of the piston rod 12. The piston rod 13, which is not fixed to the base 15, is connected to a slider 17, and the slider 17 can slide along the rails 18 with respect to the juxtaposed cylinder main bodies 10, 11.
