PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further reduce construction cost, shorten the period of work and improve the workability without decreasing the bearing force against wind and earthquake. SOLUTION: A pipe body 3 is erected vertically and constructed at the inner side of a steel tower 2, with respect to the steel tower support type chimney stack supporting the pipe body 3 by the steel tower 2, an oil damper 13 is interposed between the top of the steel tower 2 and pipe body 2. Also, by the steel tower 2, the pipe body 3 is supported in a horizontal direction at a plurality of positions with the height being different other than the apex.
