PURPOSE: A cooking pot for preventing outflow of smell is provided to improve condensing efficiency by exchanging heat efficiently with enlarging the contact area of steam and a cooling water tank, and to increase convenience by preventing loss of flavor and nutriment and diffusion of smell with condensing and circulating steam in the cooker. CONSTITUTION: A cooking pot is composed of a pot body(1), a lid(2) and a steam condensing unit. The steam condensing unit includes a condensate circulating plate spaced from the lid and a condenser. The bottom of the condensate circulating plate is communicated with the body through a passage, and the condenser is composed of a cooling water tank(5). A swirl pipe(51) is formed in the lower part of the cooling water tank, and a steam circulating passage(7) is formed between the swirl pipe and the bottom of the circulating plate. The outer end of the steam circulating passage is communicated outward.
