Shoe holder comprises a longitudinal base plate (3) defining two upper plates (4, 5); a central zone (6) located between the plates; two holding hoops (24, 25) each mounted on a carriage (14, 15) which moves in the longitudinal direction; and a screw underneath the plates. The central part of the screw has a roller so that plate has a central recess (42) through which the roller protrudes over the central zone of the base plate. Preferred Features: The thickness of the base plate in the central zone between the two plates is reduced.
