METHOD FOR PROCESSING SHORT MESSAGE OF MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A method for processing a short message of a mobile communication terminal is provided to offer convenience in use of the terminal, by enabling a user to decide reception of the short message. CONSTITUTION: When a function key is inputted(210), a menu for setting a function is displayed(212). It is checked whether a menu selection key is inputted(214). It is checked whether an inputted key is for setting a reception function of the short message(216). If the inputted key is for setting the reception function, a menu for setting short message reception and rejection modes is output(220). If the inputted key is for approving the reception of the short message(222,224), the short message reception mode is performed(226). If the inputted key is for rejecting the reception of the short message(228), the short message rejection mode is performed(230).
