PURPOSE: A damper absorbs efficiently vibration of a tub and supplies tub-supporting power as well so as to remove separate part needed such as a suspension to support a tub. CONSTITUTION: A damper comprises a lower cap(181), an upper cap(182), a damping bar(183), a frictional member(184) and a spring. The damping bar(183) is to be movable between the upper cap(182) and the lower cap(181) by outer power applied by a tub. The frictional member(184) is to be frictionally in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the lower cap(181) by being connected to the damping bar(183) and moved according to vertical movement thereof. The spring is to be elastically supported by being connected to the upper cap(182) on one end thereof and to the frictional member(184) on the other end thereof. The damper supplies tub-supporting power by being equipped with the spring.
