PURPOSE: A parking brake operating system makes a parking brake cable stably supported on a car body and cable mounting process more easy. CONSTITUTION: A parking brake operating system comprises a connecting cable(2), a left and a right parking brake cables(4, 5) and a mounting bracket(6). One end of the connecting cable(2) is connected to a parking brake operating lever(1) to transmit operating power thereof. The left and the right parking brake cables(4, 5) receive the operating power of the parking brake operating lever(1) and actuate a parking brake. The mounting bracket(6) is detachably mounted on the bottom of a vehicle to stably support the connecting cable(2) and the other ends of the left and the right parking brake cables(4, 5) thereon.
