PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a license managing method and system for preventing a user side from feeling any sense of suspicion as the unreasonable limit of the number of licenses against a software maker. SOLUTION: Persons being the target of license registration are divided into three groups, that is, 'incumbent persons', 'retired persons', and 'persons on loan' and the weight numerical value of each group is defined as '1', '0', and '0.5'. The number of use licenses is calculated as the total added value of the number of persons of each group multiplied by the weight numerical value. For example, at the time of performing the license registration of 100 new employees, 'incumbent persons' is 950 persons + 100 persons = 1050 persons, and the number of use licenses is(1050×1)+(500×0)+(200×0.5)=1150. Thus, the number of allowable licenses is calculated as 1200 or less. |
