PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold crucible induction melting furnace which can prevent the adhesion of a solidified material to the vicinity of the lower end of a tapping nozzle even when tapping is made. SOLUTION: In the cold crucible induction melting furnace in which a crucible constituted in a water-cooled copper segment structure is set up in a melting coil and, at the same time, a tapping nozzle constituted in a water-cooled copper segment structure is set up on the bottom of the crucible and the tapping coil is put around the nozzle, a refractory-made sleeve is installed to the nozzle. It is recommended to use graphite, Y2O3, CaO, or ZrO2 as the material of the sleeve.
