PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plane bearing for internal combustion engine, in which it is possible to restrict oil leakage from oil film clearance between a bearing and a rotating shaft. SOLUTION: On both ends which are axially disposed of the inner surface of the plane bearing for internal combustion engine formed in half-cylindrically or cylindrically, a convex part 4 for solid lubricants is formed along the circumferential direction, and oil leakage can be restricted with the convex part 4. Then as a result, it is possible to reduce the load placed on oil pump and to improve the fuel consumption by the internal combustion engine.
